These are just a few words to describe the students at Leading Edge Academy Queen Creek.  We use best practices in education to prepare our students to succeed as we provide them with a solid academic foundation to fulfill their dreams. But we don’t just teach our students – we prepare them for life. Our character education program grooms our students to be outstanding citizens, and positive character traits are modeled by our professional staff.  Our school is located on two campuses in a safe, college-prep environment.

San Tan Valley’s First Charter High School

Leading Edge Academy is pleased to introduce its proven high school program to the San Tan Valley. Our Gilbert High School has received AZ State’s highest ranking of ‘Excelling’ for the past three years and was named a Top Ten Charter High School by Arizona Republic two years running. We are excited to bring this same academic rigor and college prep atmosphere to Queen Creek. This 2011/2012 school year, 11th grade is being offered, and a grade will be added each successive year. The high school is located at our new San Tan campus on Hunt Highway.

History
Founded in 2002 by Delmer Geesey, a pastor with the vision of starting a top-notch traditional education program, Leading Edge Academy began with 17 students. Through word of mouth by satisfied parents, the school began to grow each year and eventually additional school sites were established. In 2004, the Queen Creek was established and has grown to be our largest campus, housing more than 300 students. Leading Edge Academy at Queen Creek is located on two sites: at Mountain View Church (K-5) and our San Tan campus (6-11th grade).
