of like minded parents, educational professionals, and local
businesses, Leading Edge Academy is entering its seventh year of
offering
an outstanding educational alternative. Through word of mouth by
satisfied parents and students, Leading Edge has more than doubled it's
enrollment each year and grown to over 500 students on 4 campuses. Even
with this rapid growth, Leading Edge retains it's commitment to
academic excellence, small class sizes, and a safe family feel.

| We will train a generation
for excellence using a back-to-basics approach in an environment where
positive character traits are expected and modeled, through fostering
parental partnering in the education process. |

| We are
Kindergarten-12th grade
college preparatory that believes in teaching the whole child. We have
been very successful using an approach which provides academic
excellence, greater fairness, and higher literacy. We believe in
establishing a strong foundation of knowledge, grade-by-grade.
Additionally, we use a values-based program to challenge our students
to improve their character and enhance their relationships. These
values are trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring,
and citizenship. Our team of teachers will provide encouragement,
respect, patience, and understanding as your child succeeds in
learning. We accomplish this through direct instruction and real world
simulation projects. |
| We not only
provide character training, we teach the foundational principals of why
character matters. We want to partner with you! We know how important
it is for you to be involved in your child's education. That's why we
have many opportunities for you to participate. Also, our smaller class
sizes allow for close teacher-parent interaction. We have many parent
volunteer opportunities available: classroom aides, lunchroom helpers,
office volunteers, special event planners and coordinators, a
Parent/Teacher Organization, and optional Family/Parenting classes and
workshops. One of the most valuable ways you can be involved in your
child's education is to support them in their schoolwork, attitude,
homework assignments, and school attendance. |
